About Di-Graf
Di-Graf Systems was established in 1997 to offer a wide range of services to
assist pressured ICT Managers meet their objectives.
Background
Founder, Alan Eastough, worked within the ICT arena from1984, initially
offering user support from the newly formed Corporate IT support unit in
Birmingham City Council, working through the learning process to become
Head of IT for the Leisure Services Department of Birmingham CC (the largest
Local Authority in the UK) for 11 years before becoming a freelance
consultant.
Prior experience had focused on Management Services and Consultancy
posts in Local Authority following a wide range of Industrial & Production
Engineering responsibilities in the West Midlands. Due to a general increase
in growth and turnover, and to better reflect future direction, vision and
strategy, the company changed status to become Di-Graf ICT Services Ltd in
February 2000, and traded continuously and successfully by offering
independent freelance ICT Project Management Services Consultancy.
Towards the end of 2015 our turnover situation changed again. This was
primarily due to the fact that on most mornings when I woke up at 5:45am to
consider starting another work-day, I decided to just turn over!
Consequently, having wrapped up our obligations and loose ends, we closed
our incorporated company in July 2019 and reverted back to a non VAT
registered Sole Trader status as Di-Graf Services should we ever feel obliged
to offer any management services consultancy commissions to any
interested parties who may enquire........
History
From practical "hands-on" projects to virtual solutions.....Early challenges in
mechanical and production engineering environments, where success with
problem solving was the only way to maintain viability, gave rise to a "can
do", positive outlook in delivering service excellence beyond customer
expectation. The philosophy is simple; work smarter and gain the most from
people by concentrating, utilising and encouraging their better skills, then just
lead from the front, adding value through supportive mentoring, and
consistently deliver the required results to exceptionally high standards.
Future plans.....
We are still mildly enthusiastic about solving problems and finding "a better
way....", and will be pleased to consider opportunities in an attempt to
continue to try and make a real difference.
